PAINT CORRECTION

PAINT CORRECTION

The first and most important step before waxing your vehicle is to prep your painted surfaces properly.
A simple wash removes most dirt and debris from your finish, but there are often other tiny contaminants embedded in your glossy clear coat that could scratch and swirl your car exterior.

To get rid of these abrasives for the smoothest possible finish, you’ll need a clay bar and some lubricant as a part of your paint correction.

Wash your vehicle thoroughly, then rub a hand lightly over the surface to determine whether or not it needs the clay bar treatment.

If the surface feels smooth like glass, you may begin applying the car wax of your choice. If you feel a rough texture as you move your hand across the finish, grab some lubricant and a clay bar to remove any leftover contaminants.

This extra bit of effort makes all the difference, and your eye-popping showroom finish will thank you for it!
